«Zoological museum»

In the course of training specialists and to strengthen the material base of the department, in 2000, on the initiative of the head of the Department of Biology, Geography and Ecology, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Professor Torekhan Kemelevna, a Zoological Museum was organized. The initiators of the creation of the museum were teachers-professors of the department: O. S. Topalov, R. H. Kurmanbaev, O. T. Aidarov.

A special place is occupied by associate professor O. S. Topalov, who made a great contribution to the replenishment of the zoological museum of the department with exhibits.

The museum's exhibits include a seal (seal), deer, wolf, canine dog, wild boar, waterfowl and forest birds that have existed since 1937.

There are 215 exhibits in total: mammals - 30, amphibians - 4, fish - 14, birds - 44, reptiles - 12, oceanic and marine animals (invertebrates) - 15, parasites - 8, entomological collections of insects - 50. Skeletons and anatomical internal structures of animals are supplemented with these wet preparations.
