Purpose
- implementation of the scientific block of the target program to reduce the anthropogenic load on water bodies and water bodies by reusing treated wastewater for the production of feed crops at experimental irrigation sites of the Kyzylorda region, while maintaining favorable reclamation conditions, bringing the quality of wastewater treatment to standard values;
- development of a new resource-saving and environmentally friendly technology for irrigation of forage crops and tree plantations with wastewater and the scientific basis for breeding forage crops.

The agro-climatic, soil, land and water resources of the Kyzylorda region make it possible to successfully grow agricultural crops and obtain high yields. At the same time, the existing irrigation techniques and technologies used in the technology of growing traditional agricultural crops do not allow the full use of the potential opportunities of irrigated agriculture.

In conditions of extremely limited water resources and paid water use, the most important condition for increasing the efficiency of crop production on irrigated lands in the south of the country is the large-scale introduction of water-saving techniques and irrigation technologies and resource-saving technologies of land cultivation using treated wastewater. This makes it possible to obtain stable, competitive agricultural products on irrigated lands.

 
Expected results
use of renewable energy sources to increase the productivity of sown grass mixtures; development of models for calculating irrigation and irrigation standards in the Kyzylorda region that meet the requirements of resource conservation and environmental sustainability of agricultural landscapes; development of a Republican regulatory document on the use of wastewater.
