History of the section «Information Modeling Technologies»

Due to a shortage of professionals in the country capable of carrying out computer-aided design projects, the "Computer Design Center" was established in the university in the 2000s with the support of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) as part of the project "Technical Assistance to Higher Education Institutions in Kazakhstan," funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (SIDA). Among the founders of the Center were Ph.D. Nagashybaev G.K., Karibaeva S.A., Ospangaliyev G., Tursynbaev M., Kim I., Shevchuk E.V., and Kim L.G. They taught future specialists to apply computer-aided design systems in practice.

As part of the state program for the informatization of the education system in Kazakhstan, "Digital Kazakhstan," in 2019, the center was renamed the Center for Information Modeling Technologies. The section is headed by Ph.D. Gulnaz Absadykovna Zhakapbayeva, an honored worker of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Composition of the Section

The contingent of the center's faculty consists of 6 full-time lecturers, including one Ph.D., and four lecturers with a master's academic degree. This accounts for 66.7% of the total faculty composition. The average age of faculty members holding scientific degrees and titles is 40.8 years, while the average age of center staff is 42 years.

Mission of the Section

To ensure a high-quality level of training for highly skilled specialists equipped with the skills to work in information modeling and computer-aided design systems. These professionals should be capable of fully realizing their personal and professional potential for the development and transformation of society through the integration of education and science, as well as the generation and transfer of new knowledge and technologies.

BatyrzhanYermakhan graduated from Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata in 2001, specializing in "Urban Construction and Management." In 2002, he obtained a Master's degree in Construction from Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata. In 2004, he completed his postgraduate studies in the field of Construction Materials and Products at Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata.

He began his professional career in 2004 as an engineer at the Department of Ecology and Efficient Use of Natural Resources at Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata. Since 2005, he has been working as a lecturer at the Section for Information Modeling Technologies at Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata.

BatyrzhanYermakhan continuously conducts research in the field of information modeling. Approximately 50 scientific articles have been published in various international and domestic publications.

In 1992, he graduated from the Kyzylorda Institute of Engineers in Agro-Industrial Production, specializing in "Mechanization of Land Reclamation Works." In 2014, he obtained a Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences from Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt Ata, specializing in "Agricultural Machinery and Technology."

He began his professional career in 1983 as a disinstructor at the Zhalagash District Disinfection Station. From 1984 to 1986, he served in the army, and from 1992 to 1996, he worked as an engineer-mechanic at the Zhalagash District Hospital. From 1996 to 2002, he was a lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation.
Since 2002, he has been working as a senior lecturer at the Section for Information Modeling Technologies at Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata.
Adylkhan Balmakhanov continuously conducts research in the field of information modeling in agriculture, machinery, and technology. He has published around 20 scientific articles in various international and domestic journals.

She began her professional career in 2011 as a laboratory assistant at the Section for Information Modeling Technologies at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University. Since 2014, shehas been working as a lecturer at the Section for Information Modeling Technologies at Korkyt Ata University.

GulnurTulegenova consistently conducts scientific research in the field of information modeling. Shehaspublishedapproximately 15 scientific articles in various international and domestic journals.
