The legacy of Mustafa Shokai

In order to promote the legacy of Mustafa Shokai to the younger generation, a meeting was held at the scientific center "Mustafa Shokai" of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The meeting was attended by students of the 9th grade of the regional boarding lyceum for gifted girls №10 "Bilim-innovation".

At the meeting, the director of the Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute, the head of the Center, Candidate of Historical Sciences, associate professor Sagat Tayman gave a lecture on the content of the idea of Turkism of the great fighter Mustafa Shok, his political struggle for freedom, his heroic activity in the creation of the Turkestan Mukhtariate, ways of struggle in emigration and works.

He also gave interesting facts about the wife of the activist Maria Shokai. The students shared information about the latest research and work done in the scientific direction of the center, familiarized with the articles written and historical documents found.
