Aktoty Zarip: Do not stop !

Recently, an Open republican Judo wrestling tournament among boys and girls was held in Lisakovsk, dedicated to the memory of Kemal Usmanov.

In the competition, a student of the Korkyt ata Aktoty Zarip Kyzylorda University took part in the 63 kg weight category and took the first prize. We congratulated her and interviewed her.

- Aktoty, congratulations on the victory! Will you tell me about yourself first?

- I am from Kyzylorda region. Now I am studying in the 3rd year in the specialty Physical culture of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. I am engaged in judo, sambo, Kazakh wrestling.

- How did you get into sport?

- I have been doing sports since I was 9 years old. My sister was the reason I came to this sport. Thanks to this, I learned to be patient, energetic. You can't relax in sports. Always requires work on yourself. I have to train physically, psychologically. In this regard, my coach has great merit.

- What do you do in your free time?

- I like to read a motivational book.

- What is your plan for the future?

- Now we are preparing for the championships of Kazakhstan among youth and adults. My goal is to take part in the Asian and World Championships, to fly the flag of our country.

- What advice do you give to young athletes?

- "Don't stop!" I tell young athletes that honest work leads to the top.
