The Ministry of Science and Higher Education signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Association of Libraries of Higher Educational Institutions

The Memorandum of cooperation was signed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek and the President of the "Association of Libraries of Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan" Gulzhan Irzhanova.

This memorandum allows us to develop documents that take into account the trends of modern librarianship, international experience in the development of university libraries and their corporate activities, the current state, as well as the provisions of international and state regulatory documents in the field of librarianship.

The memorandum provides for the creation of a single corporate space of information and library resources and services based on information interaction between the country's university libraries. Thus, general access to licensed information resources will be provided.

Also, in further work in this direction, systemic problems in the field of the university library and the training of library personnel in general will be considered and expected to be solved.
