An auditorium on the theory of literature named after Uskenbai Kozbekov has been opened

The opening ceremony of the auditorium named after Professor, Candidate of Philological Sciences Uskenbai Kozbekov took place at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. This is the fourteenth lecture opened in the last three years at the expense of sponsors.

At the event, the Chairman of the Board-Rector Beibitkul Karimova noted the merits of the scientist in the field of education and science of the country, for her contribution to the strategic development of the university, awarded the son of Uskenbai Arysbayuly Ersultan Uskenbaevich with the "Korkyt Ata Gold Medal".

The opening ceremony - the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon was given to the Rector of the University Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna and Professor Zhenis Sadvakasovich.

The meeting was attended by Vice-President of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Akhmet Yassawi Askar Abdualievich, Acting Head of the Regional Department of Culture and Sports Kuanysh Kuantkanuly, scientists of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature and Journalism Zhenis Saduakasuly, Ulzhan Nahatkyzy, Sara Tamshybaykyzy, Gabit Aneshuly, veteran teachers, faculty and students, attended family, friends and students of the scientist.

- The new audience is devoted to the theory of literary criticism. The auditorium is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, which contains the best lectures of the country's scientists about Uskenbai Kozbekov.– Associate Professor of the Department of "Kazakh language, Literature and Journalism" Aman Abasilov noted.

Uskenbai Kozbekov began his career in the 1991-1992 academic year with a teaching job at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University. In 1998, he successfully defended his PhD thesis in the specialty "Kazakh literature" on the topic "Poetics of O. Bokeev's prose".

The professor also dealt with the methodology of teaching literature and developed a methodological manual on the discipline "Introduction to Literary studies". In addition, he compiled a standard curriculum "History of Russian Literature". Uskenbai Arystanbaevich is the author of more than 30 scientific and methodological articles.
