"The policy of regulation from scratch" in relation to the evaluation of the activities of higher education organizations

At the Korkyt Kyzylorda University.Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Edilkhanov Artur Zhaukhanovich held a seminar-meeting "On regulatory policy from scratch" in accordance with the new rules and amendments made to the procedure for evaluating the activities of higher education organizations.

At the seminar, qualification requirements for educational activities (KВT) and a list of documents confirming compliance with them were presented, the main changes were discussed. The seminar was attended by all administrative management staff of the university, heads of structural divisions, directors of institutes and heads of departments.

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna emphasized the importance of these changes in improving the quality of education.

At the meeting, Artur Zhaukhanovich focused on the specifics of planning state control measures by the state, methods of external assessment of the quality of educational activities and automation of the state control system.

In addition, he separately focused on many important points, such as the requirements for the implementation of the academic mobility program, the involvement of foreign scientists in the educational process, the financing of research projects on a grant basis, the timely defense of dissertations by doctoral students, the compliance of educational programs with market demands. It was noted that universities should give priority to scientific and innovative work.

Academic staff of the university, heads of departments asked questions concerning preventive control and verification measures, and received exhaustive answers to their thoughts.

At the end of the seminar, it was noted that the common interest of both the ministry and universities is to achieve quality education, in order to achieve a common goal, a systematic organization of information and explanatory work in this direction is necessary.
