Sports contest "Cheerfulness and health-2023"

The sports contest " Cheerfulness and health – 2023" was held at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.  The sports event was attended by more than 300 faculty and staff of the university.

Traditionally, the Olympics was held in the Seyhun Sports and recreation complex from January 5 to January 13. The main goal of the competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle, improve the sports skills of teachers and staff.

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University Beibitkul Karimova took part in the awarding ceremony of the winners of the tournament.

- The Sports Contest, traditionally held at the university, contributes to strengthening unity and solidarity in the team, the development of mass sports. I am sure that this competition has helped you gain strength and increase your interest in sports. Today, all conditions have been created at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University for leading a healthy lifestyle and playing sports," Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna noted.

It is worth noting that the participants competed in chess, table tennis, swimming, air rifle shooting, togyzkumalak, volleyball, futsal, tug of war.

According to the team results of the sports contest "Cheerfulness and Health-2023", the first place was taken by the Institute of Engineering and Technology, the second place was taken by the Institute of Natural Sciences, the third place was taken by the Institute of Pedagogy and Traditional Art.

The winners were awarded a special cup, diplomas and awards of the university's trade union committee, as well as the best players.
