Scientists of the University got acquainted with the work of the Kharasan uranium deposit

Scientists of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University got acquainted with the work of the Kharasan uranium deposit located in the Zhanakorgan district.

Exploration and production, storage, transportation and processing of uranium are carried out at the Kharasan field.

During the visit, topical issues of place of birth were touched upon. The teaching staff also gave recommendations for conducting exploration and field experiments on preparing materials for the protection of uranium reserves, studying economic and technological indicators during uranium extraction by leaching underground wells.

It is worth noting that in the future scientists will conduct research work in this direction.
