The Vice-rector of the University successfully defended his doctoral thesis at the Pedagogical University of Hong Kong

Dana Abdrasheva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, successfully defended her doctoral thesis at the Hong Kong Pedagogical University (Education University of Hong Kong-EdUHK).

Dana Meiramovna successfully defended her doctoral dissertation at the Hong Kong Pedagogical University on the topic "Competing Internationalization Rationales in Higher Education: the State, Academia and Students". Having received a scholarship to study at this university, she completed her studies last year.

Following the results of the defense, the international examiners gave a high assessment and emphasized the significant academic contribution of the work for the internationalization of higher education in Kazakhstan and the development of Kazakh-Chinese diplomatic relations. 

It should be noted that Dana Meiramovna worked as a teacher at the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute, head of the International Relations Department of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarov, chief analyst, and then deputy director of the Department of Higher and Professional Education of JSC "Information and Analytical Center" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She also graduated from the Master's degree program of Nazarbayev University and received a master's degree in education management.
