А new monograph has been published
A presentation of a new scientific work was held at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The monograph includes the results of research in the field of sorghum specificity, cultivation technology, and yield increase.
The authors of the monograph "Scientific foundations of the formation of highly productive sorghum agrocenoses in the conditions of the Kazakhstan Aral Sea region" are Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Department of "Agricultural Technologies" Ibadulla Tautenov and Head of the Department of "Agricultural Technologies" RhD Serik Bekzhanov.
Scientists have been conducting research in this direction for more than 15 years.
- The monograph presents data on the technology of growing sugar sorghum – a new crop in the agricultural sector of our region, its development in the world. Sugar sorghum-due to global warming, reduction of water reserves, is currently considered very important in agriculture, food and sparsely populated culture. We hope that this book will help peasant farms to get a high harvest and boost their economy," said scientist Ibadulla Tautenov.
The scientific work is intended for researchers and agricultural workers, university students, undergraduates and doctoral students.
The monograph was published with the financial support of Abai – Daulet LLP, a leading agricultural production enterprise in the region.
The presentation of the book was attended by the vice-rector of the University for Scientific Work and International Relations Maynur Buribayeva, Director of Abai-Daulet LLP Marat Sarsenbayev, teachers and students.
During the meeting, the director of the Korkyt Ata Endowment Corporate Fund at the University, Marzhan Bazarkhanova, presented gratitude and a present to the Director of Abai-Daulet LLP, Marat Sarsenbayev.
