The winners of the innovative project were awarded a university grant

The festival of innovative ideas of Kyzylorda "InnoFest", organized with the support of the akim of the Kyzylorda region, has ended.

"Inno Fest" Kyzylorda Festival of Innovative Ideas is an important event aimed at popularizing the ideas of talented youth, the development of the digital sphere.

The festival was attended by Deputy akim of the region Nurymbet Saktaganov, who conveyed congratulations to the head of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev, adding that there will always be support for young people who contribute to the development of the IT industry in the region.

At the large-scale event, 3 participants whose projects were recognized as the best received a grant from the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Now they can get a free education in their desired specialty if they score threshold points on the Unified National Testing.

The certificate was presented to the winners by a member of the Board- Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work, Doctor of Business Administration Zhandos Bazartai.

This year 1700 young people took part in the competition, about 200 teams defended their projects in 3 directions. The young people presented more than 50 projects, including sleep goggles, a solar-powered SUV, a smart home, a smart trash can and the love between drones.

The participants prepared innovative projects in the areas of "SmartCity", "Content&Media", "Cinema &Video".

Within the framework of the festival, 6 projects were recognized as the best. Financial rewards with a total prize fund of 3 000 000 tenge were distributed to them.

It is worth noting that the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University has an Entrepreneurship Center for young people who master its industry.

To date, within the walls of the university in the direction of entrepreneurship development "Startup Bolashak. The project "Menin armanym", the program "Project Zhas", hackathons "Hackday", and "Smart city of Kyzylorda" were organized.

There were also regional-scale programs and events "Smart City Hackathon", "Night of the Kyzylorda Pechakuch", "Startup Roadshow", "Enactus Kazakhstan roadshow", "Talapker Startup Incubation", "SLL workshop", "SocInn startup", "NoCodeDay", "Kyzylorda Open Speech".
