A foreign scientist conducts lectures for students

According to the program "External academic mobility", a leading researcher of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, Novosibirsk Institute of Geology and Mineralogy, PhD, Professor Sergey Krivonogov conducts a lecture for students of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

Since November, the scientist has been conducting lectures for students of educational programs 6B01517, 7M01517, 8D01517 – "Biology", 6B01518 – "Geography", 6B01515, 7M01515, 8D01515–"Chemistry" of the Institute of Natural Sciences, conducts scientific work in several areas.

The students of the ЕP "Biology", "Geography", "Chemistry" held lectures on the topics "Changes in the scale of the Earth's orbital cycles", "Kazakhstan sector of Eurasia: "Natural changes of the modern interglacial epoch and the preceding glaciation", "Fundamentals of poleoclimatology", "Changes on the scale of millennia", "Changes on the tectonic scale", "Historical and future climate changes"

And 7M01517, 8D01517 – "Biology" , 7M01515, 8D01515 - "Chemistry" for undergraduates and doctoral students conducted on the topics of master's and doctoral dissertations.

The teaching staff of the Department of Biology, Geography and Chemistry conducted a training seminar on the topic "Modern climate theory and environmental changes.  Holocene History of the Aral Sea: lessons from the past to understand its current state"

Also, the teaching staff and doctoral students of the Department of Biology, Geography and Chemistry are shared methodological techniques for publishing articles in publications included in the Scopus and Web of Science databases.

The lectures and training seminars conducted by the scientist allow each listener to expand their professional competencies, increase the level of skills and adapt to modern business trends.
