Opportunities for the development of higher education were discussed

As part of the 85th anniversary of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, foresight sessions "Expanding access to higher education: prospects and opportunities", "Regional Universities-2032: human capital and science" were held. 

 The sessions were attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, heads of universities, vice-rectors, scientists and teaching staff, young researchers.

"The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University is a unique educational institution that trains professionals in accordance with the requirements of our country," said Akim of the Kyzylorda region Nurlybek Nalibayev.

In order to develop the education sector in the country, innovative projects and technologies in the region, new ideas and proposals were announced at the foresight sessions.

At the foresight session "Expanding access to higher education: prospects and opportunities", an increase in the population by 2050, ways to increase opportunities in higher education were announced.

At the session, the participants were divided into six groups and proposed ways to solve the main issues related to education.

At the foresight session on the topic "Regional Universities-2032: human capital and science", the issues of developing science in the regions and strengthening the material and technical base were discussed.

- At the Foresight session, they talked about the conservatism of the teaching staff, the training of the best scientists, the "aging" of personnel in the region, the insufficiency of the material and technical base, the increase or decrease in the population in the region, environmental conditions. The participants also suggested effective ways to solve the problems of proficiency in a foreign language by teaching professors, small funding in grant projects, and strengthening international relations. We have considered the possibilities of developing universities every five years, that is, until 2027, 2032," said Maynur Buribayeva, Vice–Rector for Research and International Relations of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

At the session, heads of universities and scientists from different regions of the country exchanged experiences and shared new ideas.
