Discussed issues of commercialization of science

JSC "Science Foundation" held an online seminar "On measures to stimulate the commercialization of RSSTA". The seminar was attended by more than 90 scientists and researchers of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

Commercialization of the results of science and scientific and technical activities is one of the topical issues on the agenda today. Because this issue is a priority area of activity of scientific organizations and educational institutions.

The concept of science development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026 is aimed at commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities.

This is evidenced by an online seminar organized by the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University on the initiative of JSC "Science Foundation".

Chairman of the Board of JSC "Science Foundation" Abdilda Shamenov made a welcoming speech at the seminar and noted the relevance of the development of science. Director of the Department for Investments and New Projects of JSC "Science Foundation" Kurmangazy Omarov spoke about the existing measures to support scientific projects for commercialization and noted the importance of the project.

Within the framework of the event, the employees of JSC "Science Foundation" told about the existing measures to support scientific projects for the commercialization of RSSTA, about the mechanisms of integration of science and business, as well as about the main points in preparing presentations for potential business partners in order to attract co-financing to participate in the competition for grant financing of projects for the commercialization of RSSTA      

The seminar " On measures to stimulate the commercialization of RSSTA " is of great importance for scientists of our university. Therefore, we express our gratitude to the Science Foundation, which supported the holding of such an important event," said Nurzhan Yedilbayev, Head of the Technology Commercialization Department at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The development plan of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University until 2025 clearly outlines the issues of increasing income from science, the implementation and commercialization of scientific projects, and stimulating scientists. Therefore, the seminar determined the way to further plans and helped to gain a lot of experience.
