At Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, the section of Mathematics and Applied Mechanics organized a traditional Olympiad in physics and mathematics among students of 1-2 courses within the framework of the month of science.

The main goal of the Olympiad is to deepen students' scientific knowledge, increase their interest in the subject, as well as identify talented students and develop their creative and logical thinking abilities.

The competition was attended by 95 students. The Olympiad was held in two stages: at the first stage, participants completed test tasks and the best were selected. At the second stage, students were presented with problem solving tasks, their theoretical knowledge and problem-solving skills were evaluated.

The results of the Olympiad were summed up by the teaching staff of the section of Mathematics and Applied Mechanics and students with the best results were awarded.

According to the results of the Olympiad, students who showed the best results were awarded and received special diplomas and prizes.
