The students became the winners of the republican football tournament

Southern regional stage and passed into the republican level. 6 teams from 6 regions took part in the final stage. Students from Almaty, Semipalatinsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Karaganda, Turkestan and Kyzylorda regions took part in it.

Before the football tournament, a press conference was held and a lot was cast. Students of the educational organization “Ibrai” of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University entered group A and began their first meeting with Ust-Kamenogorsk football players. The first meeting ended with a score of 1-0, the students of the Syr region took the lead. In the second meeting, our students beat Almaty students with a score of 2:0 and reached the quarterfinals in 1st place.

During this period, they competed with Semipalatinsk students and won on penalties. Thus, the Kyzylorda youth reached the final stage. The final meeting was again held with Ust-Kamenogorsk football players. As a result, they won the gold medal at this tournament, defeating the students of this region for the second time. Also, the nomination "Best Goalkeeper" of the tournament went to the 2nd year student Bagdat Botabai.
