Mustafa Shokai's ideas: the international conference was held

The international online scientific conference "Mustafa Shokai and the Turkic world: history lessons and ideological continuity" was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University. The event was moderated by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations of Korkyt Ata University, Mainur Buribayeva.

The conference was attended by scientists from Turkey, Poland, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, leading researchers and university professors. Professor of the University of Arts Mimar Sinan from Turkey, Doctor of Historical Sciences Abduakap Kara discussed the role of Mustafa Shokai in the cultural and historical continuity between the Turkic peoples. And Pavel Liebera, PhD, Professor at the Institute of National Memory of the Polish Academy of Sciences, noted the influence of Mustafa Shokai's political views in the colonial period on modern Turkic cooperation.

The chief researcher of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Kahroman Rajabov outlined Shokai's struggle for the independence of the peoples of Turkestan. The head of the Mustafa Shokai Research Center at Korkyt Ata University, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Abdizhalel Bakr analyzed the modern significance of his ideas regarding the struggle for independence.

The research was presented by Professor of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, Doctor of Historical Sciences Tursin Hazratali, professor of Kutakhia Dumlupinar University in Turkey, Vedjihi Sefa Fuat Hekimogly with a PhD degree and a leading expert of the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books, Ph.D., Associate Professor Gulsim Bisenova. The head of the scientific center "Mustafa Shokai" of Korkyt Ata University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Sagat Tamshybaevich also spoke at the conference about the future directions of studying the legacy of Mustafa Shokai.

The purpose of the academic council was a scientific discussion of Mustafa Shokai's contribution to the Turkic world and national liberation movements, an analysis of the impact of his ideas on relations and cooperation between modern Turkic peoples, as well as a reconsideration of his legacy in a new historical and political context. 

The conference has become an important platform for strengthening the unity and cooperation of the Turkic peoples. Today, Mustafa Shokai's thoughts serve as the ideological basis for cooperation between the Turkic countries.
