The Council of Senators met with students of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University

Members of the Council of Senators of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting with students at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University during a working trip to the region of Syr. The Chairman of the Board, Rector Beibitkul Karimova, made a report on the achievements and new initiatives of the educational institution.

During the meeting, University Professor Serikbai Koshkarov familiarized with The Museum of Water Management named after Madelkhan Nalibayev and spoke about the ongoing work on water resources management and water-saving technologies in the region.

The members of the Council of Senators highlighted the annual development of the university, adding: "The main purpose of our visit is to promote the speech of our president at Kurultai, as well as to familiarize with the life of the region's population."

Among the members of the council were well-known state and public figures of Kazakhstan: Kuanysh Sultanov, Birganym Aitimova, Rashid Akimov, Dinara Nuketayeva, Bekmyrza Elamanov, Murat Baktiyaruly and academician, historian Umirzak Ozganbayev.

Kuanysh Sultanov noted the importance of the meeting for students: "Young people, think about your future. Your feedback is very valuable to us. In his speech at Kurultai, the President emphasized the role of youth in society. The future of the country is in your hands, so let each of you feel responsible and set high goals for yourself,” he said.

At the end of the meeting, the senators talked freely with the students, listened to their opinions and suggestions. He also expressed confidence that the country will join the ranks of qualified specialists who will work for the future.
