Five projects of kyzylorda scientists have won grants

Five projects of scientists from the laboratory of engineering profile "Physical-chemical methods of analysis" of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University were recognized as the best and received grant funding. Well-known scientists of Syrdarya region submitted their works to the grant funding competition of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for 2024-2026 for scientific and (or) scientific and technical projects.

Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Professor, chief researcher of the Laboratory of engineering profile "Physical-chemical methods of analysis" Nurbol Appazov plans to implement the project "Molecular design of antitumor drugs based on the new platform 7-azakumarin".

And Candidate of Chemical Sciences, PhD, head of the laboratory of engineering profile "Physical-chemical methods of analysis" Nurgali Akylbekov will start the project "Strategy for the creation of new 1-sulfonylpyrrolidines - promising antitumor agents".

The project entitled "Design, synthesis and chemical transformation of cyclic amidine systems and their conjugates with natural acids for biomedical applications" also received financial support. The project leader is Candidate of Chemical Sciences, PhD, senior researcher at the Laboratory of engineering profile "Physical-chemical methods of analysis" Rakhimzhan Turmanov.

Professor Anipa Tapalova, who has devoted her adult life to science, is going to implement another best project. The project "Modification of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids of vegetable oil from rice husks with pharmacophore fragments - creation of antitumor compounds".

The leading researcher, Candidate of Technical Sciences Rosa Narmanova is also a professional in her field. The inquisitive scientist proposed the project "Studying the taxonomic diversity and biotechnological potential of microorganisms in oil-contaminated soils of the Aral Sea region for choosing a bioremediation strategy." All five scientific projects are relevant for our region. Scientists who have received a total of 600 million grants will now begin to implement their innovative ideas.
