Participated in the II forum on institutional research in Kazakhstan

The II forum “Using institutional research data to improve decision-making in higher education institutions” was held in Almaty region. The forum was organized jointly by Nazarbayev University and KIMEP University on the basis of Suleyman Demirel University. 

The forum discussed cases of institutional research aimed at improving the quality of Education, data analysis and decision-making strategies. At the forum, Dana Abdrasheva, a member of the Board of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University - vice-rector for Academic Affairs, made a report on the topic: “institutional research in regional universities: myths and truth”. The forum was attended by the director of the Department for Academic Affairs Bayanali Doszhanov.  The forum discussed the basic principles of monitoring successful cases of institutional research aimed at improving the quality of education and the results of students from the moment of admission until graduation. Effective data accounting and decision-making strategies based on the collected data were also outlined.
