University teachers took part in the seminar

Nazarbayev University of Astana held a seminar "PhD Insights: exchange of academic experience of Nazarbayev University". The seminar was attended by the head of the Educational programs of "Kazakh language, literature and Journalism" of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, associate Professor, Ph.D. Almautova Asiya Bazarbaevna, senior lecturer of the Educational program of "Water resourses and land management", PhD Daldabayeva Gulnur Turekhanovna and head of the Educational program of "Pedagogy, psychology and methods of primary education" senior lecturer of Educational program, PhD Dyusekeyeva Nurgul Zhalelatdinovna.

At the seminar, professors of Nazarbayev University and higher schools made informative reports and presentations. On the first day of the seminar, issues related to the development of a syllabus on the principles of developing curriculum and courses for PhD programs at Nazarbayev University, methods of academic writing and research were considered.

On the second day, the speakers reviewed the requirements for preparation of justifications for dissertation research and publications on PhD research. On the last day of the seminar held at the library of Nazarbayev University, Elizaveta Kamilova, a library training specialist, presented the work of the library and organized group work for the participants.

Vice-rector of postgraduate programs of Nazarbayev University, Dr. Luis Rojas-Solorzano and Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Toibayev Adilet Zhunusovich presented certificates to all participants.
