Cooperation with Кorea will grow

President of the International Cooperation Agency of the province of Chollabuk-do, Republic of South Korea Kim Dae Sik, head of the Strategic Development Department of this agency Kim Yong Ha, specialist Kim Sin Yong visited Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University today.

The meeting with the representative of the delegation at the Students' Palace was attended by Board member - Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Mainur Buribayeva, Board member-Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Zhandos Bazartai, head of the group of international projects and scholarships, Director of the Department of Economics and Finance, Candidate of Economics, Academic Associate Professor Nurlan Urazbayev and Head of the Department of International Relations Gulnaziya Almakhanova, Timur Kenshinbai, an employee of the International Projects Department.

At the meeting, Mr. Kim Dae Sik noted the importance of developing cooperation with Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University in the field of education and science. In addition, he noted the purpose of the visit and shared his experience with Kazakhstan colleagues. In particular, the university rectors of the two countries are ready to exchange experience. Timur Ibraiuly introduced the guests to the Museum of the educational institution. The history of the university, told about the achievements of the university. Then the head of the Department of reader services of the Scientific Library Aigul Kiyasova presented the books of the Korean people made of rice paper, published in the XVIII century in the library's collection. They were grateful that the collection of Korean laws, a collection of works by writers, was also preserved.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided that specialists from a number of industries important to the region will exchange experience in the province of Chollabuk-do. In addition, it is planned to jointly organize a meeting of rectors of universities of Kazakhstan and Korea to get acquainted with Korean technologies in the field of education and science.
