An international forum was held at the university

The forum continued with a thematic exhibition of rare books by Korean authors at the Students' Palace.  Along with this, a special photo exhibition by Kim Mikhail was presented. 
The work of the forum was opened by a member of the Board – Vice-rector for Scientific Work and International Relations Buribayeva Mainur Abiltayevna. The documentary "Interview with the past. The March Day movement". The film is directed by Vladimir Khan.

Yuri Germanovich, Chairman of the Kazakh-Korean Tire Association, delivered a welcoming speech on the Day of Gratitude. Aitzhan Zhumabaevich, Head of the Center of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, made a report on the topic "From the history of Koreans of the Kyzylorda region in the 30s of the twentieth century".
A report on the topic "Day of Gratitude, Unity, Historical Memory and Continuity"  was made by Kim German Nikolaevich, Director of the Institute of Asian Studies of the Kazakh National University.Al-Farabi, Doctor of Historical Sciences.  Nelly Chanirovna, PhD, Associate Professor at the Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, told about the activities of modern Kazakh Korean organizations dedicated to the memory of the fighters for the independence of  Korea.

Also, on the topic "Memories of generations", Kim Marina Gemovna, great-granddaughter of Ge Bon Woo, representative of the public association "Descendants of the Korean educator Batyr Ge Bon Woo" spoke.
The festive event continued with the presentation of the collection of ethnic clothing "Dara" by designer Tsoi Svetlana, founder of the House of Creativity Daralace and a festive concert program.
