Korkyt аta university and the university of Kyrgyzstan plan to implement a double-degree educational program

The agreement for the establishment of a representative office has been signed.

Today, an agreement was signed to open a representative office of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University at Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn. Based on the memorandum of cooperation signed on July 7, 2023, Kyrgyz partners provide an office and material-technical support for the representation office of our university on a gratuitous basis.

Under the agreement, the parties have agreed to conduct joint scientific and educational events, carry out activities aimed at mutual expansion of academic mobility for students and faculty, scientific internships for master's and doctoral students, create joint educational programs, participate in international rankings, recruit foreign students, and develop cultural ties.

Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn was granted a special status by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 18, 2022, No. 243, providing for wide organizational, financial, and academic autonomy. In addition, the Kyrgyz State Law

University has been joined to this university. The university has about 28 thousand students, with education provided in more than 145 educational programs at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels.

The creation of double-degree educational programs is planned for the future.
