An international seminar for teachers was held at the university

In order to strengthen ties with production, an international seminar for English teachers in the city's schools on the topic "The 21st century Teaching" was organized. The event was held by the ЕP "Foreign languages and translation".

At the seminar, foreign professors shared their experience.

Anna Kubas, a graduate of the Fullbright program, presented new information on the topic "The use of authentic materials in teaching English language".

And Associate Professor, PhD Agbo Seth from Lakehead University in Canada held a discussion on the topics "Global changes and education", "The knowledge age and teaching and learning", "Howard Gardner's Multiple intelligences", "Translanguaging as a pedagogical strategy for teaching English as a foreign language in the 21st century".

At the seminar, teachers of the Korean Language Center of University  Kim Yong Bom, Kim Jinkyun presented their innovative ideas to increase students' interest in the language. 

A group work was organized at the foresight session "How do you imagine the present and tomorrow of the English language among teachers?". Taking into account the creative, inquisitive characteristics of the team members, the jury determined the prizes. The winners were awarded certificates, books about the history of the university, and about graduates.
