A lecture hall of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Duisen Nurimov has opened at the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.

At the event, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University Beibitkul Karimova noted that the scientist's contribution to science and education is significant.

It has become a tradition at our university to open a specialized lecture auditorium in their name in order to pay tribute to respected teachers who have made a great contribution to the development of the university, high-quality education of future specialists. This is a traditional event with a great benefit, spiritual, exemplary.

More than 80 scientific papers and 4 monographs of the scientist have been published on topical issues of the development of the feed production system in difficult environmental conditions.

In addition, Duisen Egenovich is the author of 3 textbooks and 50 methodological manuals "Quality and safety of agricultural food products" (2002), "Expertise and quality control of agricultural products" (2005), "Perennial herbs" (2010).

Duisen Nurimov, as a great teacher, paid great attention to the training of highly professional specialists and the education of students. Under his leadership, 10 graduate students defended their PhD theses, Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna noted.

For his contribution to the strategic development of the university, the son of Professor Yerlan Nurimov was awarded the Korkyt Ata Gold Medal. A tribute was also paid to the wife of Duysen Egenovich, Tlectes Kekilbayevna.

The event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia, relatives of the scientist, teachers and students. Also, Honorary Rector of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the National Kurultai under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kylyshbai Bisenov, Chief Researcher of Y. Zhakaev Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Rice Farming LLP, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Kurmanbek Bakirovich, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Serikbai Koshkarov.

It is worth noting that Duisen Egenovich, after graduating from the Tashkent Agricultural Institute in 1958, worked as the chief agronomist in a number of farms in the Shieli district.

In 1962, he graduated from the postgraduate course of the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture and received a PhD degree.

From 1962 to 1992, he conducted research related to agriculture.

Nurymov worked for many years as head of the Feed Production department at the Kazakhstan Rice Research Institute.

In 1993-2009 he worked as the head of the Department of "Technology of agricultural production" of the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda State University, in 2009-2014 as a professor of the Department of "Technology of Agricultural Production", Doctor of Agricultural Sciences.

In 1995, having defended his doctoral thesis on the technology of cultivation of forage crops in the rice crop rotation in the Aral Sea region in the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences.

In 2004, he was awarded the title of Honorary Head of the Department of the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda State University.

From 2014 to 2019, he worked at Bolashak University as a professor of the Department of Biology, Geography and Sports, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences.

In 2018, he was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda State University.

The scientist contributed to the creation of a new generation of Kazakh 587 TV corn, resistant to low-saline soils and characterized by high yields, in 1985 he received the author's certificate of the USSR Academy of Sciences 4951.
