A festive event was held in honor of the Arabic Language Day

In honor of the World Day of the Arabic Language, an action "Arab tilim, berekem!" was held at our university(العربية لغتي و بركتي). The educational evening was organized by teachers and students of the ЕP "Foreign Languages and Translation".

At the festive event, senior lecturer Sholpan Baymakhanova, the founder of Arabic studies in the land of Syr, noted that in 1989 Arabic as a foreign language was studied in the Kazakh language and in historical specialties. In addition, in 1990, a new specialty "Teacher of the Arabic language, Kazakh language and literature" was opened, telling about the history of the Arabic language in the city of Kyzylorda.

During the celebration, the culture, history, national cuisine and clothing of the Arab people were told, scenes in Arabic were presented, songs, dances were performed, poems were read.

The method of making Arabic coffee was demonstrated, the guests and students of the evening were offered dishes "Makluba", "Al-Kabsa", "Kataif", "Manakish".

At the end of the evening, Gulnur Kamisheva, a graduate of the specialty "Arabic language", Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor, spoke, who noted the importance of learning Arabic.

Associate Professor of Foreign Languages and Translation of the ЕP, PhD Kundyzai Aubakirova, drew attention to the fact that Arabic is the language of the Holy Quran, expressed her best wishes to the students and asked questions in Arabic. Students competed and received prizes. Kundyzai Kydyrbayevna handed over the papyrus brought from Egypt.

The students were awarded in various categories.
